By directing energy in one direction, the PowerBeam ac spatially blocks or filters noise, thus improving immunity. Unlike the standard Wi-Fi protocol, Ubiquiti's Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) protocol allows each client to send and receive data using a pre-assigned time slot scheme scheduled by an intelligent controller.

These time slots will eliminate hidden node collisions and maximize efficiency. This means it will provide better performance in latency and scalability compared to any other outdoor system in its class.
